This season they are once again competing for the crown and, like Bayern, they boast a powerful forward line. Sancho and Erling Haaland have both broken goal-scoring records in the Bundesliga this season. Sancho is considered to be one of the most exciting players in the world. He recently became the youngest player to score 25 goals in the Bundesliga. He was joined at Dortmund in January by Haaland, who scored a hat trick on his debut. He then became the first Bundesliga player to score five times in his first two league games.

There aren’t just two teams fighting for the Bundesliga title, though! RB Leipzig are the latest side that are threatening to overthrow Bayern. Managed by Julian Nagelsmann, who is only 32, they have become regular members of the Bundesliga top four. They have not lost against Bayern in the Bundesliga since 2018 and their star striker Werner is near the top of the scoring charts.
